Our Farm
In the Summertime, Haven Farms takes on a whole new vibe. The entire farm transforms into a loud, fun, boisterous kids playground. There is nothing better than getting to spend the day outside breathing deep, learning about Jesus, laughing, growing and spending time with our animals. We love our animals so much that we have over 100 of them! Some are true farm animals, but many of them love to be loved on by our guests. If you are looking for a nondenominational christian camp that is safe, educational and inspiring place for your kids to spend time this Summer, with counselors that encourage new skills and interaction with nature, you are in the right place!
We are located in Hazel Green, AL and are only 30 minutes from Huntsville, Madison & Athens. Even though we’re quite close to the city, we have quite a bit of space to stretch our legs around here! Haven Farms sits on 95 acres of land, and from the very beginning in 2019, we have worked hard to create a safe space not only for our animals, but also for the kids and visitors that spend time here. Haven Farms is a place where curiosity can grow and a love of nature can take root!

2023 Critter Camp Registration
CRITTER CAMP SCHEDULE
Our passion is working with kids, and we absolutely love introducing them to new experiences and expanding their confidence. Our week-long camps run from June-July. Our camps are designed for kids ages 4-13.
Daily Sample Schedule
8:45-9:15 drop off, 9:15 gates lock & camp starts, 9:15-3:30 activity rotations (recreation, games, lunch and chapel), 3:30 departure routine begins, and play park time, 3:45-4:15 camper pick up.
We are running 5 full weeks of Critter Camp this year!

Shuttle Service
We will be offering a shuttle bus for Critter Camp weeks 2, 3 & 4

Shuttle service is very limited and payment is your registration.
No holds or reservations with out payment will be accommodated.
Critter Camp Extreme for Teens!
If your camper has aged out of our Critter Camp daytime experience, we have a solution for you!
What is Critter Camp Extreme? Envision our daytime Critter Camp, but amped up to the next level for kids ages 12-15!
Everything will be bigger, games will be harder, competition will be more fierce, leaning in to the night life, and every day is a overnight experience!
If your kids have loved the Critter Camp Overnight Experience, then Critter Camp Extreme is for them! There will be tent camping every night, team & fishing competitions, field games, pool games, late nights around the fire, lots of fun food, and horse riding. It is going to be EXTREME!!!
Drop off: June 29 at 4:00 p.m.
Pick up: July 2 at 4:00 p.m.
Price: $350.00 ($100 due to reserve your spot, $250 due May 29th)
Food: Food will be provided. Dietary restrictions can not be accommodated.
Things to Bring
Critter Camp: Lunch each day, one piece swimsuit for girls and shorts for boys, towel, sunscreen, bug spray, closed-toed shoes required daily, and money for snack cart (optional)
Teen Extreme: List will be sent separately.
Cost
Critter Camp: $325 per child per week.
Teen Extreme: $350
$100 is due to reserve your campers spot, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your reserved camp week.
There will be a $20 change fee assessed for changes made to your reservation week.
Cancellation Policy
$100 of the camp fee per camper is non refundable, and only transferable through written permission by Haven Farms. The balance of the camp fee is only refundable if the request is made in writing no later than 2 weeks prior to the session. There are no discounts for late entrants or early withdrawals.
